  • MYIO Portal and Telehealth

    June 1, 2023

We are excited to announce that we are now using a more advanced, highly secure, patient records system with a fully integrated patient portal, MYIO.

    • The MYIO portal will be our patient platform for all telehealth appointments going forward. Patients will need to activate their MYIO portal BEFORE joining a telehealth appointment.
    • Patients can use the MYIO portal to send secure messages to our staff. There are mailboxes for Prescription requests, Billing and Insurance questions, and Scheduling changes.
    • MYIO can also be used for making on-line payments and checking balances.
    • Co-pays will be collected through the portal prior to beginning each Telehealth appointment.
    • Storing a credit card in MYIO is not required, but it will save time when checking in for appointments. (If you had a credit card on file in our previous billing system, it was stored in an encrypted format which we cannot transfer. Please consider storing a card securely in MYIO.)

If you have any other questions or concerns please contact us at 781-407-7770.

    Please note:

Some insurance plans have changed the way they cover telehealth appointments since the COVID state of emergency has ended.  It’s extremely important that you contact your insurer to ask about continued coverage for telehealth visits before you schedule further appointments of this type.  If you see a practitioner through telehealth and your insurance company denies coverage for the claim, you will be responsible for payment.

    Getting Started with MYIO

Look for your invitation to activate your MYIO portal. This invitation will be an email or text message that comes from  No-Reply@Valant.io.  It contains an access code you’ll need to start the MYIO set up. Each access code is valid for 7 days. If your code expires prior to activating your account, please contact us at 781-407-7770 to receive a new access code.

You will either need to download the MYIO app on your smartphone or tablet, or go to www.valant.io/myio/dedhamconsultationcenter/ on your computer. Once you’ve opened the application or the website proceed as follows:

    • Click “Create an Account” and enter the access code from the text or email message you received to get started. Please choose a Username and a strong Password that will easily be remembered.
    • Choose Username
    • Choose Password (will need to be eight or more characters, one uppercase, one lowercase, and one number or special character)
    • Retype Password to confirm
    • Answer Three Security Questions
    • Click Next

    1. You will see a series of demographic questions.  Required fields will be in red and have an asterisk * symbol. Many sections/fields will be optional.  Answer questions as needed and click Next.
    2. You will be asked to provide an email address you wish to have associated with the MYIO portal. Please do not log off until this section is complete, as this is an important part of MYIO account security. The portal email is used to reset your MYIO password or receive any updates, messages, or shared documents sent to your MYIO account. The portal email can be the same as the one used for work or home but you must re-type the email address into the portal email field.
    3. Once your email has been entered, click Verify My Email to receive a confirmation code. Go to your email inbox to find this 6-digit code and type it into the portal page you’re working on.
    4. Continue clicking Next after each section is completed. At the end you will need to review the linked information and click Accept.

    Welcome to MYIO!
