Bernardino Vaccaro
Bernie Vaccaro, MD is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist with added Qualifications in Psychosomatic Medicine by the American Board of Medical Sub-specialties and is Board Certified in Neuropsychiatry by the United Council for Neurologic Sub-specialties. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine and the American Neuropsychiatric Association.
He trained at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center and the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program and completed additional training in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry (Psychosomatic Medicine) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and in Neuropsychiatry at the Behavioral Neurology Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Vaccaro is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and two newer techniques: Brainspotting and the Comprehensive Resource Method. In addition, Dr. Vaccaro is trained in Neurofeedback and rTMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation).
Gabriella Marciante
Gabriella Marciante is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She is a graduate of Boston University and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College. Gabriella is certified in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS) and is working towards her certification as a Dialectical and Behavioral Therapist (DBT). Her clinical practicum was completed at the VA Hospital.
Gabriella specializes in psychopharmacology with a strong emphasis on Psycho-education and supportive therapy. She has a special interest in trauma and mood disorders, as well as the mind-body connection. She also uses cognitive behavioral techniques and meditation in her therapy sessions. Her goal is to promote an active partnership between client and provider. Gabriella is committed to offering compassionate and competent care to achieve the best possible outcome for each individual.
